Roscoe Club

I’m not much of a gambler. I went to Las Vegas once and learned my lesson. But in this case, I took a bit of a gamble with this Roscoe LG that I found in the classified ads, and I believe I’ve come out on top. Maybe you saw it. The pics were not good, but the price was right. It has a myrtle top and body. Quite unusual for Keith to do that unless it was a custom order. To say the least, I’m very pleased with the looks and the tone. I always had a fondness for the purpleheart sapwood fretboards that Keith used back in the day. Classic Roscoe if you ask me!View attachment 3718482View attachment 3718482View attachment 3718493View attachment 3718494View attachment 3718495View attachment 3718496

That was a good gamble! Seems your nice bass acquisition has been a good payouts from what I can tell.

Lane's can have all the peach and pecan trees...give me some pine needle much and that amazing smell! Didn't like that 'spore' stuff in March, 'pine love dust' everywhere! I'm ready for a GA get-together, aren't I?

Yeah, spring time is rough here. Pollen has increased so much that the pollen rating is off the chart, literally can't be measured. Stay inside.

Shoot man, if you are willing to travel south from the Chicago area to meet us native Roscoeheads, I'm sure we can make that happen. Joe throws some awesome GTG's in Warner Robins. Plus the best BBQ ever.

I played this Koa beauty both services and 1 practice today and was blown away. I just can’t believe how good these Roscoes sound in a full band mix.
