This confirms that I still don’t care for the Roscoe-spec Barts, or Barts in general, but I thought that the CB’s in the first bass sounded pretty good! Also confirms, at least for now, that I’m a fan of the jazz-style config, as I thought that bass sounded the best overall.

Ok guys, I did it! I made a few edits, but it is basically the same as the draft one I put up. Hopefully this will be the start of some more videos and content for my YouTube channel. Thanks to everyone who checked it out and made a comment. Feel free to check out the actual vid on YouTube now!
While I doubt I’ll do as detailed a video as some, I am figuring out recording and hope to have something to share of my basses sometime down the road.
That is interesting - unless @SteveC remembers what is in the (now my) fretless JB, I'll have to check on it sometime. I do know that live the bass has a great voice. I plan on doing a video to highlight that one soon, and I might go through some different gear.
The SKB Standard Plus 5 with the Bart JJ's is my favorite tone of the bunch.

Same thing here in Kentucky. I’m still working everyday but it’s really slow at our Hospital. Hoping this mess is over soon. Luckily our church is still live streaming 2 times a week and still doing our weekly TV broadcast. 2020 has definitely been a year to forget lol.
Really slow is good. A few more weeks of it and then we can start to slowly try some things.
People aren't going to wait a few more weeks, nor are they really going to go slow. We've already got local sheriffs and county commissioners in NC that are saying that they won't enforce an extension.
Without getting too political and shut down, that’s to bad. It’s too early. I hope science is wrong and all the businessmen are right, but I’m very concerned we’ll see another spike when people start going out and not taking precautions.
If we had quarantined the at-risk groups early on (instead of everyone), we'd be in a much better place, socially & economicly.
Florida pretty much followed this, has the most at-risk people, did not do a complete shutdown & have a very low rate of fatalities.
Over 99% survivable & we're destroying our economy.
Well, on a more Roscoe related note, I know there's at least two of us who haven't heard from Keith in more than a week since our basses arrived at his shop. I'm sure it's nothing criminal, just would like to know what's up. Hopefully he's just busy.
I sent my skb maple top to hav a chip in finish fixed. I spoke to Keith Tuesday April 13. He wasn’t in the usual “talk shop” kinda of mood, he said he and his son where the only ones working on stuff. I sent him a pic via email of the chip and he said to send it over and he’d fix it and sell me some Roscoe Daddario strings . Bass arrived Friday morning April 17th. I think that week was the last he posted on the Real Roscoe Page too. I waited 5 days and called to make sure he could fix it and to just get a feeler of how long it would take. I got the shops VM. I figure he’s just knee deep in builds and keeping up etc. I’m sure if he sat down to take calls, return email and spend countless minutes on the phone a day would be lost of production. That’s what I hope at least .
I haven’t spoken to Keith in s while so I called the shop and his voicemail (actually still Gard’s voice).
I’m sure that with just the 2 of them working right now they don’t have time to answer the phone.
Hopefully things will begin to normalize soon. It’s crazy everywhere! I’ve been waiting on a Nordstrand pre for over 3 months now.
I wish Georgia had taken it a bit slower in trying to establish a "new Norm" but hopefully folks will practice quality social distancing and things will work out ok. As for my wife and I, we don't have to venture out and only do so as is required for food and drugs (legal drugs)!

While some of us are fortunate to live in states where cVirus is waning, or even just stabilizing, NC is not one of those. According to stats in today's NY Times, NC is in an upward curve for number of new cVirus cases, along with 20* other states. No evidence of flattened curve yet in many states.

I try to keep this in mind as I think of Keith Roscoe, often working alone in his shop 6-days a week at 70 years old. Much awe, respect and admiration for him. Hopefully, he's taking breaks when needed, and resting when weary. Stay healthy, Keith : )

Kyle is there, is doing a lot more work in the last couple of years (Kyle did all of the work except the paint and the plek on my LG3005) and really is coming into his own.
But they've been much more strict in that part of the state.
Though I am a firm believer that we can't treat all of the parts of the USA like they are NYC.
