Why a set of each? Not sure which will look better. Or do you have another 2 Roscoe’s coming in?
I guess you can rotate them out like a woman does a purse?![]()
@mwbonsall
I had a extra set of Roscoe covers that Keith sent me because mine was scratched when receiving my Bass. So I sent him the Scratched set to use as a template.

Just be prepared to scribe each one to fit. Gard and Keith told me that the access cut-out varies slightly from bass (as do the position of the mounting holes). I’d tell Roger to not drill the mounting holes. You can match drill when they arrive. Although it might be ok to have Roger match drill one each for the bass that the cover that you sent came from.
I can vouch for the fact that no 2 are the same. I’ve had a few!![]()
I'm the same way, but for some reason, it doesn't bother me on someone else's bass. Pocket the savings and play the heck out of it!![]()
The CNC ROuter cuts the holes and makes the plastic covers now so I think they are all the same. I know the set I sent him fit both basses of mine perfectly.

I think Joe has forgotten just how long it's been since he ordered a Roscoe!!
They don't use these anymore to cut the trees down for blanks!!!

Perfect, thanks Shane. Let us know how they look and fit when you get them. I think I want some too...
Mark
Yours are antique hand made Roscoe’s Mark.
You’ll have to scribe yours to fit!![]()
Lol
That’s one for Ray.
But I can say that I bought them when they were truly hand made.
Now they’re just glorified CNC Fenders!
Did I just type that?![]()
Any other quirks ot be aware of? I dont have an owners manual and I cant find one online.

I have the preamp figured out. Its a Bart 3 band with push pull 250/800 on the mids.No owners manual for a Roscoe. Best bet is to figure out what preamp is in it and then look it up.
I think I will pass. Thanks though. It's not a Fender so I thought there might be some quirks that I need to be aware of.Well, that can be solved easily. You can just ship that bass to anyone in this thread (if you need help selecting just PM me) and they will be happy to examine the bass and writeup a nice owners manual for you.
