C'mon, man, I'm talkin' about the body. But that bass can join in anyhow.
Also, hello from the studio.
Anyone know what this wood is? Love the pieces that have sapwood like this? I want to say it looks like Myrtle?
Great question. My guesses: Maple, Koa, or Myrtle.
I was thinking I might want to swap out the electronics on this bass before I got it but now that I have it I must admit I’m very pleasantly surprised and will leave as is. Now if I could just figure out what the strings are.

I tried to trade for that bass (unsuccessfully) both times that it was up for sale this year. I’ve always wanted to hear a Roscoe with a P/J configuration.
Glad to see that it found a loving home.
You appear to be building up quite a Roscoe collection these days.
Between you, Steelin4u and Staccatogrowl you guys could open a Roscoe boutique bass store!

At any rate, I really like the transparent white stain on the 4 banger! Gard has a 5 string with that finish. I think that he calls it Storm Trooper.

I had 5 twice but sold them all both times. All really nice Basses. I played Gard’s White fretless when I took Keith Horne down to the shop several years ago. I loved that bass too.

Well if the Kickstarter fund starts in about 2 weeks then I will not get my hopes up (yet).
My other basses are actually ABC basses. After all, they started it all!
