Roscoe Club

Not quite "ebony and ivory".

I’ve currently have 5 in the stable. I’m planning on listing the burl maple / mahogany 4 string but I haven’t gotten around to it.
My favorite tones come out of my ash bodied LG’s with maple tops, standard necks with a wenge fretboard. I have Bart CB pickups in all of them.

If you ever want to part with one of those LGs... I might know a guy who loves LGs and really wants a Roscoe bart LG to compliment his Fretless and Fretted PJ...

That's good to know! I'm currently waiting on a build to finish, and if it's all of what I'm hoping it will be then I'll be needing to greatly thin my heard.

I know you don't have it anymore but that far right Koa with matching knobs is really nice. Love that Buckeye Also.
That Koa LG was one of Joe’s many basses that was passed from owner to owner. See first post in this thread! It was the only bass I owned that folks I played with requested I bring after hearing it. I think it had the Mahogany body with an Ebony fretboard and the Demeter preamp. I ended up selling it back to the guy I bought it from!!

That 2005 Buckeye LG was commissioned by the Perfect Bass store in Greensboro, NC for their grand opening raffle. I traded a MTD 535 for it from the winner of that raffle. It has the “Wedge” neck! It’s my wife’s favorite bass. I’m a huge fan of the Buckeye Burl tops, too!!
