Interesting! That is possible, but it still looks used as opposed to just tinned.
The issue surrounding this switch is it came in a sealed kit with pots that I needed long, but the switch is too long and I need the shorter one. I’m needing to return it for the one I need, but don’t want to be blamed for returning a used switch.
I’ve not heard from StewMac, yet. I’ve inserted the other parts in the guitar and my installation is working but the old switch is weak and not working as it should. A new one will cost $28 and if I can’t return this switch they sent because it’s in a used state then I’ll have to do that.
