The Stambaugh was a little tricky. . At first I was thinking Elrick because of the control layout, but I've never seen neck inlays like those on an Elrick. They don't seem too common on Stambaughs, either. But, I did run across a photo of a Stambaugh on DDG (DuckDuckGo) that had that same inlay pattern. That settled it.
Waiting another two weeks is a bit much,
Oh, that "B" string I miss and I can't touch,
But oh, what the heck, it's getting a new neck,
So I'll just wait and play my other stuff.

Okay, so is the model the Master Modern or the Master Classic that's behind the Roscoe LG (

To muddy the waters further, Aguilar has a DCB version of P/J pickups now. Wonder how they sound. I really like the Aguilar DCB soap bars in my Koa century.

The truth be told though, every Roscoe bass built is done so in increments of 2 weeks.

That poor STD 4. It's been passed around to at least 4 TB'ers that I know of. It deserves a good stable home.

Odd numbers are best, so for 7 I'd add:
Century Plus 5 PJ
And for nostalgia (this seemed to be the stereotypical Roscoe when I first started looking) an LG 3005 with a spalted fingerboard, Purple Heart stringer in the neck, and a myrtel top/body of some kind.
