Whoa, 4 preamps, including onboard, to mix, match, or totally disable. .

To use that many, one should be required to take a course called "Gain Stages, EQ, and You: How to Not Totally Destroy Your Original Signal"!

With my Roscoes, I hardly move any EQ more than a pinch in any direction when performing or recording. Unless there is some reason I'm not using my amps...shaping is often needed when I play through certain brands that aren't mine so I can get what I'd call a 'good sound'.
