Does the "JB" location move the neck pickup closer to the bridge while leaving the bridge pickup position unchanged? If so, that would seem a good way to tighten the tone and make it punch. I'll bet that sounds good!

I've posted some before in this thread, but I'll always take the opportunity to post pics of my amazing basses.
Here's my 1st "custom ordered" Roscoe with the man himself. I don' think many people have a pic like this…
And with the musician that inspires me and tried to teach me for a couple hours…

I assume the gray cloth pictured in several of these pictures are stock photos from Roscoe? If so, Keith needs an iron...

all beautiful, but that century 5 on the right really does it for me. is that a flame maple top with ash back and mahogany center?

Agreed. The Century shape is like a natural extension of my body. The one on the right is classic Roscoe specs: Swamp Ash/Flame Maple, Macassar Ebony board, Maple/Purpleheart wedge neck, Bart/Bart electronics. Killer bass for any style.
Not yet, sorry - Tony is out shaping it now, will probably be on in a couple of days though!

I'm looking forward to it too, beside it being my bass, I want to see how the black hardware, coco top w/sapwood and maple headstock all tie together.
