...however, we do have all of the same woods available, and could build a similar bass quite readily...

I'm with you, Greg, but the real artistic folks swear by film. Seeing the results, it's hard to argue. I've been told by some cronies that I'll eventually get there. But then, I've also been told by some dude in VA that I'll eventually have a pedal board.

(I do own two Boss pedals...an octaver and an overdrive. Both were actually used on gigs, believe it or not. The former to cover some 80's R&B, and the latter to cover Santana guitar parts. Who needs a guitar player when you've got a six-string Roscoe?!?)
