Roscoe pictures (from Roscoe Forum)

I wanted to post these two pics because of a discussion I've been having elsewhere. I haven't had my Roscoe JJ as long as some other basses I've owned, but I've put more hours on her in these few years than just about any other bass. So these two pictures show what work looks like - skin and dents.

Does it count if the dents come from dropping it?

And do you have to make music with it? I can't.

I agree, and Jon takes superb care of his gear so you know this bad boy has "been around the block".

One reason I had the Hoppah come with an oil finish; I gig out a ton with her and the finish hides a good deal of wear and finger prints.

Here's some pics of mine. I'm seriously considering selling it to fund one of those Buckeyes though. God that top is beautiful!


The brightness of the flash makes it look lighter than it actually is. I need to take some good natural light shots.
