Roscoe SoundClips 3 (from Roscoe Forum)

Here's a new instrumental song featuring my new Roscoe SKB Standard + 5 fretless and Queen Koa (Roscoe LG-3005).

I really love the singing tone of the new fretless. IMO the JJ pickups really work well with the woods (mahogany body/maple neck/diamondwood finger board) of that bass.

Well, when my 6 gets here Tuesday I'm gonna start working on Bach cello sonatas and Dotzauer etudes. Try to get thinking more melodically.

We'll see if some inspiration comes from that. I'm sure I think that things I try sound too simple but I know that's where you have to start.

Here's a new all bass instrumental (except for some light keys) of the Tomlin/Redman song "The Wonderful Cross". It's based on the awesome traditional hymn "When I survey The Wondrous Cross". I still love those old hymns!
This tune features my Roscoe fretted and fretless basses (tuned E-C).

Here's a new instrumental Bass Orchestra version of "My Heart Is Yours".
This is based on Kristen Stanfill's version. I love the way he transitions to "I Surrender All" at the end.
This one features my Roscoe fretted and fretless basses and was recorded using Reason 6.5.
