Rotosound 55's - I don't think so.

I didn't see any indications of the strings being made in China. But I wouldn't be surprised if they were.

Regardless, I've since switched to D'Addarios and I only buy those strings directly from the D'Addario website or at Guitar Center. I haven't had any issues like that since

I mostly use D'Addario, and have been for 40 years. They're made right here in the northeast US.

The three pack of fake acoustic strings I received had the wrong inner wire shape and the inner package registration code didn't work. They would not stay in tune at all. Amazon refunded my money, but I went back to buying them locally. Oddly enough, they weren't cheaper. I only ordered them from Amazon too save myself an errand.
