Rotosounds change over the years?

I did not notice anyone saying this. When I first learned realtime that Jaco used Roto Rounds, plus his fingers and not much else, I dived in, told my fingers to take the pain, and I have never looked back. YMMV. And tastes differ.

I could’ve sworn that the package read Solo Bass 55’s. The lettering on the package was blue, and the background was silver.
