Running Tech 21 into Pod XT.

Has anyone got some insight on running a Tech 21 driver into a bass pod xt, then, into the front of house? i am very new to this style of set up. Normally i would run direct into my head/cab and go from there.

is it a pretty basic setup? will i need any extra stuff. i have looked around but i couldnt find a straight answer.
