I've been a chronic ear infection sufferer for... since I can remember.
However recently it hasn't really bothered me. Last time I had an ear infection, a little over a year ago, I had woken up... felt some strange pressure in my left ear, then heard a "pffft" and some blackish pus drained out. Went to the doctor, he looked in my ear and went "oh man that's gross..."
Basically took me a while to recover, used ear protection when playing. Got some antibiotics and got pretty good at learning how to clean my eustachian tube.
