So I just got out of the church service we played, it was my first time using the RB "live" and I was so happy with my sound! I really love the little box o' joy!
But I do have some questions...
During sound check, I connected my pedal board to the effects loop of the ampeg BA300 that I was using (bypassing its preamp correct?)
While I did like the tone, I decided to try pluging the pedalboard directly into the amp's input...
Now I loved the tone! of course, I fiddled around with the amps EQ a bit but I felt that it gave my tone a more "full" sound..
I know that plugging the bass straight to the same amp I can get a nice tone. so my question is, am I not using the RB to its fullest by using it in conjunction with an amp's preamp? I feel a bit bad that I wasn't able to get a full sound with the RB as the only preamp and using it just as another pedal
do you fellow RB users bypass an amp's pre amp or use a power amp and happier with that tone?
I hope this doesn't make me look like a silly goose by asking these questions, but....
I am a noob
