I can go toe to toe with the GK/810 with about any half stack I've faced. I bet running a 800rb/810 with the EQ flat and a active bass will be heard thru a super scooped/bass heavy guitar mix. You can go late 80's early 90's death metal and get a BC RICH loaded with dimarzio's :). Those schecter omen basses can be had cheap, play well, and sound decent.

BASSIST NEEDED FOR METAL BAND.

We don't really need a bassist, but would like one for the visual aspect. You need to have a big intimidating expensive rig but well keep you turned way down because were Volume Nazis and guitar is really all we need.

No egos welcome.

theres almost no room for bass in metal like that, unless you want super clanky tone that cuts through (think dude from necrophagist). theres no room for anything warm or fat in death metal lol.

I mean, if "metal like that" is strictly melodeath, then sure, this is very true, but I can also think of tons of death metal bands with terrific bassists, even skipping the usual Steve Digiorgio/Alex Webster/Atheist/Cynic stuff. The clank is sort of the standard way to "cut through" but I think a lot of bands are catching on that it's not the only way. That one Antediluvian album used fretless bass in a pretty cool, new way.

So I just took a look at my checking account and noticed that I'm about $100 short of what I should be. What could have happened?

Dirty scumbag McAfee automatically renewed my security subscription that came with the new laptop I bought last year. $94 ****ing dollars.

I absolutely HATE passive approval policies like this. They sent one email, which was caught by my spam filter, before going ahead and charging my account. No business should ever take money out of a customer's checking account without clear, expressed approval. This is a really shady business practice and an excellent way to drive away customers.
