S-Ray build ceruse finish

Been a while since I posted anything on this one.
I made a little direction change in the finish of the body. The amber body started looking really yellow and when I compared it to the blush tone of the birdseye fingerboard, it just wasn't working for me. So I went to plan two..... a burst finish over the black grain filler.
I sanded off the amber tinted finish, stopped shy of the black filler and started over. I used transtint dyes and mixed a green that would work. I sprayed 3 coats to get to the lighter color of the burst then choked down the output on my gun and started darkening up the edges.
Here are a few pictures of the burst before I shoot a few more coats of clear over the body.
The flash makes the green a little lighter than it actually is. It is a nice deep color.

This color looks a lot better with the neck but I will probably have to cut a new pickguard!

All the really sweet grain is out of the way of the guard, IMHO.

Thanks guys! I'm really liking it too.
I actually selected this piece of swamp ash because the better grain would be outside of the pickguard.
I will try the original guard before I decide to cut another.
Thanks again for the comments!

Finished with the body. I wet sanded to a 2000 grit then used 3 different 3m polishes to buff out the finish. Overall I'm pretty satisfied but this is the last project that I will use the waterbased finish on. Going back to nitro! This is the 3rd bass that I have tried the watrerbased finish on and I just cant seem to get the depth and clarity of finish that I can in nitro. Anyway, here are a few pictures of the finished body.

I'm toying with the idea of making a birdseye pickguard maybe a little different shape? Not really sure, just kicking it around.
