Double Bass S.Saens Elephant on a DB tuned in fifths

Good morning to all,
few days ago i upload on my YouTube channel, a video were i try to play this piece the initials bar for first time, on my doublebass tuned in fifths, after around 20 years that i don't play it, on a double bass tuned in fourth where i learn it !

Does anyone know what type of bass Joel plays?
Very Cello like, with large upper bouts and modest lower bouts.
He uses quite a cello like position, sitting right behind the bass with a lot of lean. I wonder does any other stringed instrument have as many different techniques?
