I picked this one off of a TBer. It was just delivered Friday.

Greetings, Here's my 2004 Blue Ernie Ball Musicman SUB 5 bass with the active pickup. The B/W/B pickguard made by Pickguard Heaven.

Two beautiful SUB's!!! Here you go...
Hopkins #29
Jordybass #30

Side note: played the SUB-5 on Friday night and realized I did NOT miss those extra lbs. from the Stingray at all! :bassist:

I've got a black SUB5 in the mail and headed to me as I write this. It's going to need some work but I got it at a great price, and I've been hankering for a "project" bass.

This will be my 2nd SUB5. I sold my first one to another TBer while under the influence of GAS! At least it was GAS for another EBMM bass : )

Love the compensated nut! It looks like a late (maybe Dec.) 2005 model, based on the Serial #...

Enjoy!!!

Yeah, I noticed the compensated nut, also - I'll post up on it once it arrives... It's got some still competition to break into the gigging rotation, though - it'll be standard tuned, which means it'll be replacing an '08 American Standard Jazz with a series/parallel switch - which is one of the best playing basses I've ever had the pleasure to play...

I'm probably going to put a hipshot on it, and use it for an alternate to the aforementioned Jazz - for E standard and Drop D stuff... This all started with the SR5 HH I bought this summer - now, I'm really digging EBMM basses...
