Well, I'm down to just one SUB, the Sterling. As part of an intentional (and somewhat brutal) "thinning of the herd" I sold my last remaining Stingray. I think I'll probably keep the Sterling long term. It sounds amazing with TI Jazz flats on it.

This week I stumbled upon what appears to be a factory fretless SUB Stingray at Guitar Center in Denton, TX (seen on their website) and was tempted, but it's overpriced for its condition (the back of the neck appears to be pretty dinged up).
GC seems to way overprice SUBS. One just sold on Reverb for $600 and several sitting at less than $1000 and GC wants $1400 or whatever.

Today is 5/26/2026 had a few US SUBs down thru the years, and I just traded for a 2005 Black one active. Looks like hardly been played from what I can see. Seller was asking $1100 so traded with him my bass. Don't need to know what I traded him and was even trade. I have had the passive and the active SUB's white, teal, black and burgundy ones. Here is a picture with my Sterling by Music Man Ray34. Always end up getting back to the Music Man basses. Take Care!
