S/X and Douglas bodies

Specifically the Douglas WOB 6 and the S/X Ursa 6... any idea what the bodies are composed of? Are they shaped from 1 piece of wood or are they multi-part bodies?

One piece of wood? We WISH! Only the SX Andromeda has a one piece body. All my SX basses have three piece bodies. If the bass is natural finish or burst, they may or may not be matched well if ash. Alder has little grain so matching isn't such a big deal. But with SX ash bodies a nice match is sort of a matter of luck.

The SX 6er is alder with a very nice tone and the Douglas is ash which will be slightly brighter with nice grain (if natural finish).
