Saddle Lowering

Hey guys, got a bit of a problem.

When I play on my bass, the saddle screws slowly turn, and the saddles move lower. It's not very noticeable, but after a week or so, I have to readjust the saddles. I don't know if it's the vibrations from me playing, the saddles moving side to side, string tension pulling down, or what.

Help would be appreciated.

But what if adjustments need to made later? Is that stuff permanent?

As mentioned, the height saddle screws are still adjustable. The blue Loctite "gums up" the works just enough to prevent inadvertant slippage during normal day-to-day use.

Tip sidenote: make sure the individual string saddles are even / parallel with bridge baseplate. This ensures that both height screws are in full contact. Attempting to "tilt" in the effort to follow the fingerboard radius is a bad idea and can create a myriad of problems.
