That #3555 was my bass...for about 2 days. I think I was the 3rd owner. String spacing was wrong for me. Had the older bridge with narrower spacing. A beautiful bass, but just didn't feel as "right" as my other Sadowsky 4 with the newer bridge.

Congrats, Jim, looks beautiful. Can you tell us how it contrasts tonally to a regular Telecaster? It seems to be one of Roger's nylon string models. What kind of sonic space are you going for with it?

I personally would enjoy a Sherwood Green Sadowsy with a tort pickguard. Those things look swell.

It sounds better than it looks. It's a nylon electric and it's the prettiest sound I may have heard in my life. And by a long shot it's the most touch sensitive and dynamic instrument I have played. It sounds like an amplified classical nylon string guitar. The first time I played one I was blown away.

I don't have any sound clips but you can hear it on Lee Ritenours "Dreamwalk" and "Pavane" on THIS IS LOVE. I think it's on iTUNES. But that really doesn't do it justice.
