Sadowsky Basses

I was bored and started looking around the web at different basses today and I came across a brand I believe called "Sadowsky". These basses are very expensive, but I also noticed they have great reviews from customers.
So the question is, what's so great about these basses? I don't even think they look great.

don't bother . . . they are just parts basses (I think Warmoth, last I checked) with a name that is way too hard to pronounce***. :hiding:

. . . . . . . . . . . ***please note that I am kidding and I sure hope that the original post is a joke as well (as the vast majority on this forum, myself included, already know how amazing Sadowsky basses are) . . . . . please, please be a joke!

The answer is EVERYTHING!

Yesterday I got an opportunity to examine and play a Sadowsky for the first time. My friend's band was playing nearby and I went to check them out. Her bass player, Randy, was playing a 1994 Modern 5 with EMG's. They called me up to play a tune. While the song was something of a clamfest thanks to me (I'm a 4-string player who has only owned a 5'er for a month or so), the bass was an incredible instrument. It felt great, sounded great and played like a dream...it was absolutely perfect. Now I see what all the fuss is about.

Looking at the original poster's profile. he or she joined at the end of February and has posted 53 times. Unless Joker only reads Off Topic, I can't imagine that he has not run across any Sadowsky threads. I could be wrong, but it looks like troll to me.:ninja:

I'm just not on these forums enough and I'll be honest I'm kinda a newb when it comes to bass stuff, other than playing... well actually I'm not that great when it comes to playing either :help: :help: :help: :crying:

Probably some guy slapping parts together in his basement. Glad you warned us...

I think PT Barnum said a yuppy and his money are quickly parted? Or was it George Bush that said a fool is born every minute?
