I can't speak for the original poster, but for me, looking at the picture MAJOR METAL posted earlier in this thread is all that it takes to make me able to do the same. The 24 fret models might not be downright ugly, but they look quite bland to me. And as well, I think the five string vintage and standard basses look a bit disproportionate. I'm sure they are all brilliant basses, though, so please don't flame me just because the looks of some of them don't quite do it for me (I'll also give them the benefit of a doubt by saying that they might look better in real life than in all the pictures I've seen).slipknotz said:How can you say those basses aren't nice looking?!

Not the case with Sadowsky, in my experience. My 3 NYC's were all purchased used at an average of roughly 30% off the new price. At that level of discount, a standard Metro 4 would go for $1300-1400, a Metro 5 for $1500-1600. I don't think I've ever seen a Metro priced that low.

PLEASE, PLEASE Don't get me gassing for a Sadowski!!!!!!!!!! I am already a confessed gear whore/junkie/addict.:scowl: I can't take much more of this. If I buy another bass my wife will shoot me in the face..........although............she's not that good a shot............and I would eventually heal..............she might feel bad about shooting me................then I would have my Sadowski. Ok guys I have to go....I have some planning to do.
