I love mine. It is my favorite bass and I use almost all of the time. I have several threads on my bass if do a search. I had a VTC added to me delight.

I had one for a short time last Fall, I found it played really well and liked the tone, but the width of the neck was too much for me, as I usually play a Spector 5 string with a much narrower neck. Build quality and finish was fantastic and overall the bass was amazing but it just didn't work for me.

I had one for a while as a backup bass. It is OK for the price, but my MetroLine Modern feels much better and sounds more articulate to me - which I still play. If I were in the market, I'd save a bit more and look for a used MetroLine.

Japan Modern. Live by it. Far better than a Okoume/roasted neck chinese electrics, no VTC modern. for not very much more. Just gotta search. They dont come around too often
