Yeah, wait for it locally where they will pay tariffs on wholesale versus you as an individual paying tariffs on the retail value. At least in theory, retailers rarely pass up an opportunity to make a greater profit and if the public is expecting higher prices....

My point was that the tariffs are lower on wholesale versus retail price, but that doesn't mean that retailers won't use the opportunity to raise their prices as if they paid tariffs on retail.

Worth noting, the VTC retrofit kit to add it to the stock sadowsky preamp is $130

The Metro Express Moderns are finally coming. Too bad that 10% tariff has kicked in here in the USA. I am guessing it will be around and $1,500.

I probably won’t bother adding one to mine when it arrives. I had the VTC installed in my 2008 Japanese Modern 5 but I never used it much. I know some people swear by it but to me it doesn’t matter a whole lot. My big question is how much will the bass weigh?
