Sadowsky Retofit VTC into a Metro Express?

I have had this for a few weeks, and really like the sound. I am pondering whether or not to try and put the Sadowsky VTC retrofit into this, in order to get that extra bit of tone control, (ever though, what it already comes with, is good).
I heard that there could be issues retro-fitting the Metro Express with the retrofit kit.
Has anyone tried to do this, and was it successful? Thank you!

Well...I had it done and I am still trying to figure it out. It seems that the VTC will sweep between the P and the J, which I like. I just cannot remember if I could do this without the retrofit.

The VTC should just add a passive tone pot to the preamp. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the blend pot should be stock on the new Express basses.
