Sadowsky SA-200-Give me strength.

Well, someone had to put a Sadowsky SA-200 amp on Ebay for sale. Starting bid of "only" $2500, but free shipping! Ha! I must show some self control. I already have my Aggie DB750 and a slightly newer TH500. I'm fairly set for most situations, BUT, it's soooo sweet sounding. Two Hundred watts of buttery Dutch tube goodness...Sorry. I need to take a nap now. But I have been telling my wife that my Sadowsky bass would really sound better through a Sadowsky amp (does it even need to be said?) and with my birthday coming up next month...she just gives me one of those looks that don't need any words to explain what she's thinking. Of course I'm married to an executive "sales trainer". She won't buy any of my B.S. And it's some of my best material too.
So, I'm appealing to the bass community, someone please buy this amp before I have to step up and do it. Although my NYC bass would be very happy.

I played through an SA200 for about 10 minutes using a Dark Star-loaded Lakland Glaub. That was six years ago and I still remember the tone--pure magic. Man, this one is up for sale at a bad cash-flow time for me.:atoz:

I'm Bob's nephew, I too have a Sadowsky and on numerous trips to the Sadowsky factory, have played this Amazing amp.....However Members of TalkBass as a concerned family member Please Stop him before He or someone else gets hurt lol We All know buying more basses and gear is a sickness, and we All have it....but this would be a purchase I could Not help with an allibi to get past his wife. Don't think the "Michael's Friend had this in their closet" is gonna work anymore. She's Quite Intelligent
