Sadowsky users - Your amps?

Love the Sadowsky P/J 5, RW through Thunderfunk 550-Avalon U-5-Accugroove El Wappo. And for smaller speaker configs, use an Accugroove Tri 115 or a Schroeder 12/12.

The bass sounds different through all of these rigs, but always sound like the hammer.

Great to see so many variantions of equipment.

Kill It !!!

For all out tone, you will want something significant, like an NV-610, 810E, or IP-310. I have an NV-610 driven by a Trace Hexavalve, and the RV5 sounds terrific through it.

However, a much more practical "rig" which doesn't give up anything in the tone department at useable club volumes is a Nemesis NC-410. That thing is brain dead. Haul it into the club, plug the RV5 into it, tune up; instant tone. The RV5 / NC-410 setup is hands down the most practical tone machine I've been able to find.

ok.... but how about EBS :) cuz i have fafner + 4x10 and i'm thinking of buying sadowsky, i wonder how does it sound.

just to know what to expect... :ninja: ;)

I have a MV5 with VTC.
Usually I go direct (Tech21 Acoustic DI -> TLAudio 5051 Tube preamp/compressor) to the FOH and IEM.
In my other band I am using a Tech21 programmable BassDriver into my SWR SM500 with 2 Aggie GS112.

I really like both setups.

Sorry, I was just commenting on the general thread.

Regarding your questions, MV5 vs UV is going to be a personal taste thing. You should play both axes and go from there.

I haven't played EBS; but given their reputation, I'd be amazed if you didn't get excellent results.

DB359 w/GS410 and if I need more, I'll ass the S210.

no big deal... :) i will play both, just wondered if someone had any expirience with EBS + Sadowsky setup

I have an NYC Sadowsky vintage PJ-5.
I am always using something different. I like my SVT2 nonpro and SVT heads, with my aguialr GS112 cabs. I have a kind of modular modular rig from 1 to 4 cabs depending on the gig. And it all fits in my Honda Hatchback.
When I feel like SS i use my Ashdown EVO or my Carvin B1500 which seems to be my main amp lately.

Guys who dig on the Sadowsky sound, what kind of amps do you prefer?

Eden?
G-K?
Aguilar?

Sadowsky on the way. I'll be running it through my Bergantino IP112+EX112 using a Aguilar DB659 preamp (while I wait for Jim's Line Driver).

Can say how well it sound, my MIA Jazz sounds better than it ever has with this rig so I can only guess the Sadowsky will sound phenomenal!
