Sam Rivers

I like this guy. He got some cool bass riffs, and probably the most consistent in Limp Bizkit.

I like how he usually pitch-bend stuff like in "Stuck".

and people usually say the riff from "The Truth" is superb.

He always finger though, occasionally use pick live for some songs(Re-Arranged i think).

I did not know about bass much(just start) so i don't whether he counts as a good bassist or not, and also correct me if i'm wrong.

I know some people hate Bizkit, just because they are Bizkit and one of the most uncoventional metal band around.

Anyway, i think the guy that is also good is Sam Rivers' cousin who is the drummer, that guy is super groovy.

for me Fred Durst is not that bad, he is a good rapper rhythmically, but not lyricallyand he is an egomaniac.

I really dug him before Limp Bizkit went MTV. I thought this little ditty to "Rearranged" was pretty clever, though, repetitive. He's like Fieldy, but with more musical qualities.

no. he is not like fieldy. he is repetitive cause thats the kind of band he's in. im sure if you let wes, john, and sam loose they would create different music.

He can't be that bad, He has a Wal!

im used to seeing him with the warwick. corvette i think. with light-up leds

I think he is like Fieldy. Sound, style and gear wise.

I've seen John and Sam jam at their early show back in 97. They can play.

Sam carries the song on most of the songs on "Three Dollar Bill Ya'll"

It's a shame Fred sucks. Cause the rest of the band is just awesome.

Does anyone know what bass he's rockin on that album - very unique sound. Thwappy growl (whatever.)
