Wanting a camo bass... not that crazy

Wanting something that looks like that picture...




As a kid I used to drool over the George lynch guitars in magazines and catalogs. They've had a bunch of camo options over the years. I dig the winter camo look below:

I love the look, if it is done right. Much like a relic job it varies from case to case. I love the look on this ESP.

 

I see you're from TX. I'm more surprised you don't already have a camo bass. Do you at least have one that is flag oriented?

 

I think that we are already invisible enough.

 

Hell in the last year, i've been drooling over the version 1 of these, that blue camo is just awesome....

OTOH: i'd have some concern if you actually thought that it would hide you from anything....unless, you know....you had a good reason to hide....

Just remember that if you’re going to put in active electronics, you need to go with a digital Camo pattern.

 

If you build a camo bass, you have to build a rack so it can hang in the back window of your truck!

Absolutely a great idea. Especially for a home build. Look up hydro dipping guitar bodies. Similar process for doing gun stocks.
