First off does anyone else use these on bass? I find it great for adding some grit to a clean signal but need a EQ to boost the bass back up when engaged. I have had this pedal for years trouble free until Tuesday night I switched pedalboards and instead of using the usual one spot power supply and daisy chain I used my Boss PSA A/C adaptor due to the plug clearance on the new board. What I was hearing was distortion but a bad distortion almost like a battery was laying down never had a battery in this thing since I got it always used the AC option. I switched back to the one spot and all it ran like normal. So I guess my question is do you think this pedal is going bad or was it just the power supply? to my knowledge both the one spot and Boss PSA draw and put out the same power I guess the only reason I ask is that the PSA is brand new and it powers 8 pedals with no issue so real confused with this one.
