yes it is true the strings are a very personal thing but as far as my experience is concerned these are the best. They are soft and more elastic than others, they allow you to play in a more comfortable and natural way, they are built entirely by hand by a craftsman and this I believe makes the difference compared to the ropes made with automatic machinery.

I found four string sets in an Italian online shop for €29,00 (US $32,00).

However, “build entirly by hand” does not sound like my cup of tea. I cannot even imagine any advantage over machine wounded strings. Rather in opposite - but just my 2 cents.
