Naples is the center of handmade clothing such as men's suits, shirts, ties, shoes, etc. I'm talking $1,000 shoes. So people in Naples will always say handmade is better, for everything.A question...
What makes "handmade" strings superior to those that are wound by a hi-tech computer-controlled precision winder?

I like La Bellas and DRs, both handwound, but I don't know that their quality comes from being handwound. I like Rotos too and they're machine wound.I do agree some things are better handmade. But bass strings? Not so sure...
