Sansone String handmade in Italy

There are some things machines do better than people. I'm thinking winding strings is one of them.

Besides, they aren't flats, so they are nowhere in the same universe as my idea of a best string.
 
A question...

What makes "handmade" strings superior to those that are wound by a hi-tech computer-controlled precision winder?
Naples is the center of handmade clothing such as men's suits, shirts, ties, shoes, etc. I'm talking $1,000 shoes. So people in Naples will always say handmade is better, for everything.
 
I would like to speak with Francesco directly. Where is he and what’s his phone number?

And why did Francesco send you as the messenger? The guy contends he makes the best rubbery strings in the whole world and now he thinks he’s Louis Vuitton?
