I've done a few long canoe trips in Algonquin Park, it's a fabulous place.

I saw bears regularly.

BTW what's supposed to be paranormal about the so-called Sasquatch anyway?

Until there is a very clear and honest to god video footage of one of these things, Im still a skeptic. This grainy dark and shadowy footage is just not enough to convince me, this is very easy to make by anyone.

Yeah, I'm pretty darn sure there hasn't been wobbly, grainy film and video footage of every species in existence on planet Earth.

Yep, that's just about right for the biological sciences. It's BS until you've stabbed it and slabbed it. You may hypothesize the existence of a creature (for whatever reason) but it's not fact until you dig it up. So, go out and kill Big Foot if you want someone to believe you.

Exactly. A biologist bases conclusions on strong empirical evidence. A crypto zoologist bases conclusions on thin evidence and pure BS, like grainy videos.

After reading through this thread and looking at the poll, I am no longer convinced we bassists are the superior intellectuals of the music community... just wow. Every time we make fun of drummers for being slow, or guitarists being guiatards, they simply have to point out this thread.
