Sure, a lot of the "evidence" turns out to be hoaxed. That's how people are. Same with UFO's and Crop Circles.
I think there's more out there than we think there is.
I try to keep an open mind about such things, although I'm not a dreamer or an enthusiast on such matters.

I'm certainly open to the idea. People thinking they have it all figured out or can definitively say it's 100% fantasy to me seems like a pretty arrogant and naive way of thinking. I don't think we can know all there is to know when limited to our one brain and 5 senses, but it certainly doesn't hurt to keep learning and discovering as much as we can.

New species are being discovered all the time. We know more about the moon than we do about what's living in our own oceans, etc., etc.

Different civilizations going back millenia, who never met each other or had opportunity to pass along folklore to each other, all describe similar creatures, sasquatch, yeti, etc.

Not saying it's absolutely real or fake, but I certainly don't just dismiss it out of hand.

Absolute certainty is a useless degree of certainty. There's what's likely and what is not. The logical default position for belief is disbelief until compelling evidence is presented. There's no more evidence for bigfoot than there is for leprechauns or unicorns, so I don't believe either exist.

Though everyone is entitled to believe whatever they want. Some people care more about whether or not their beliefs are true than others.

Sasquatch is absolutely not real. No debate, no discussion, no argument.

I guess that makes me arrogant and naive. Oh well.

yeah, Will... human scepticism is innate if you ask me. it's both an asset and dis-advantage. we constantly under-estimate ourselves, so things that we have never seen are understandably dismissed. what's really sad is most people are living with blinders on! i'm not a Squatcher hunting for tidbits to post online for attention. i was just minding my business and these beings just barged-in to my material reality. my reason for the poll was to maybe attract another eye witness and maybe get some support or closure.
on 01.14.14, i'm heading north to visit the location of my 2nd event. this terrain is brutal and i'm over coming a head cold, but hopefully i have enough residual strength/energy to forge through. i'm definitely not purposely looking for evidence, but if i see/hear anything i'll report back. my friend who owns the property, along w/my son, found a cave system that goes atleast 40ft into the bank. hmmmm.... :)

Until the goverment comes out and says "look we didnt know if you guys could handle this BUT, yeah we actually did find some little green (or grey) men in roswell back in the 40's and here they are, proof that we are not in fact, alone in the universe.:eek:

Your first statement there is an absolute. It leaves no door open for further discovery or learning and assumes we have reached the apex of our knowledge and no further thought or discussion is necessary. To some, that could be considered arrogant and/or naive....or close-minded, or any number of such things.

If we can't prove a negative, saying "absolutely not real" wouldn't pass muster. If we want to be all scientific about it, we should say something along the lines of, "at this time, there has not been a proponderance of evidence to support......" ;)

You can say what you want. I say Sasquatch does not exist. End of story.

Judging by how many people have seen it all over the world I do not find it hard to believe there could be some undocumented primate sharing the planet with us.

these mammals were found in the last 10 years

Finding primates where there are or historically have been other primates isn't especially far fetched. Finding a bipedal, highly specialized, extremely large primate where nothing like that currently or to our knowledge has ever existed in this continent is extremely far fetched.
