I have a pearl white pickguard on my dropped copper. I wonder if aged pearl would have looked better.

Wow, that paint swirl one is amazing! If I had seen that, I would have gotten that instead of the blue. Where is this from?
I'd rock the swirled colors one. I've not seen that on another bass, and it looks killer!
There’s a story behind this one for me… About 1 or 2 times a year I have a visual migraine and a pattern not unlike this one superimposes itself on my visual field. I’d tried to describe it to folk before and never quite had the words and then I saw this pickguard. “THAT’S IT!” I told my family. I had to order one. No pain with the migraine. I lay down, close my eyes (the visual pattern persists even with eyes closed) and take a short nap. When I wake, everything is back to normal.
That makes sense. I’ve often described the feeling of having a migraine as being sparkly. Or like the edges of a Caillou episode.
Look up OCULAR MIGRAINE - I used to get them often. I could tell when one was coming on by the peripheral sparkling lights . If I was quick to down a Motrin and bottle of water I could stop it from fully developing. But you're right. It does look like that.... Those are odd headaches... doesn't hurt, but ya can't see / drive like that.
I get those. First one happened when I was about 35. They're really random. I go many months, maybe a year or two without any, then I might get a two or three within a month. I find if I just lay down and relax with my eyes closed for about 20 minutes, they go away.
I put Dunlop SS flats back on mine tonight/this morning. Just didn't care for the GHS Boomers on this one. I plan to put them on a Squier PJ Jaguar.
I honestly can't say that I have any problems with the stock tuning machines. I must have been fortunate to not get a lemon with all of the complaints I've read about them.

my pickguard arrived earlier than expected. I think it looks great. Fits better than the OEM one.
D'Addario chromes. I've had them on this bass about a month and like them so far. The tension is higher than I'm accustomed to and the first fret us a bear but i like the way they sound on the fretless plus they are easy on the fretboardSay, what are those strings with the cool blue threads?
I got this wiring diagram from SBMM...attached just in case anyone else needs it also 
Has anyone removed and compared the neodymium pickups from the SBMM to the EBMM to see how similar they really are?
I recently purchased one of the SBMM short scale basses,with maple fret board. Would rather have the rosewood fret board, but decided to get what was offered to me. Got it off a fellow TBer on here. If anyone would want to trade their rosewood fret board neck,for the maple fret board,let me know,or PM me. Thanks!
