Looks like the first run is sold out. Wondering when they might show up again.

Should be pretty soon. Given the success of this bass, I can't imagine them doing a 'Fender' and treating it as a one-off special with a single production run.Looks like the first run is sold out. Wondering when they might show up again.

As long as they duplicate with a series of darkwood boards! Those are my faves.I'd love it if there was another run next year with different colours. I'm a big maple board fan, so another choice there would be great - black, shell pink, surf or seafoam green, etc with a maple board could all convince me to get a backup.
I posted vids of the SBMM in action. Might as well post the Musicman for anyone interested. I recorded direct, pretty sure nothing but a little EQ was added in the mix. If even that.
Sounds great!
Have you already talked about how they compare?

very nice all the way around, and your singer does an awesome plant.
btw, is that bass the MM or did you paint your sterling?
It fits in a Stratocaster gigbag. I don't know what a mono m80 is though.Does anyone know if they fit in an electric guitar mono m80 the same way a JMJ Mustang does? Thanks!
Thank you, and it's the Musicman. Next video coming up (if and when they finish it) I did with the SBMM.
SBMM Stingray Short scale
they sold out loooong ago. i've been talking to music stores, and
t̶h̶e̶y̶ ̶d̶o̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶E̶T̶A̶ ̶a̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶t̶i̶m̶e̶.̶ MF just now told me they're due in stock july 30. whether they'll actually show up is another matter.
I would like to see the shorty with 2 humbuckers!
The SBMM pickguard is unique. WD make a pickguard for the EB short scale, not the SBMM. The screw and pickup holes line up but the neck pocket area is too small for the SBMM. The taper is wider on the SBMM neck. I bought one and had to file it a lot. If you're not willing to do a lot of hand fitting, you'll need to order a custom one by sending a willing vendor either your pickguard or a tracing of it, per their instructions.Does anybody knows if the pickguard are retrofit with longscale stingray.
I really dig white stingray with black pickguard so i think i will buy the white model and swap the pickguard for a black one...
