Schecter Quality Control

if the quality of schecters is being accused of inconsistency, I would just like to point out that similar complaints can be made of many other companies that charge alot more for their instruments.. i hear people complaining about fenders and warwicks having frequent quality issues as well...

Again... schecters are priced well, and mine is a great bass. I really dont CARE who plays one... and how good they are.. anybody who needs to see a famous person use a bass before they can consider it obviously aren't capable of judging an instrument's quality in the first place.

I love my Schecter Custom-5. IT is amazing for waht I need, and at a great price. Yes I would buy a nicer Febder if I could afford it, but I'm only 14 so obviously I don't have that kind of money until I get a job this summer.

I do agree that this thread should be closed down because of some very rude people.:scowl:

I think Klaus Flouride from the Dead Kennedys plays Schecter. Classic band, and he goes with a "nu" bass.

After playing many basses, I find that basses are like shoes. They fit everyone differently, and the most expensive pair may not be the best. I love Fenders, and I love the look and feel of the Schecters I've come across. To assume that only "nu" metal types play Schecter is pretty short sighted. Yes, the company has a lot of nu metal endorsed players, but maybe that is one of the many niches they are trying to expand into. I find their designs refreshing and really push the envelope when competing with similar companies. I can't stand when musicians look down on or ridicule other forms of music or instruments indirectly related to a certain type of music.

Anyways, please keep us posted on you Schecter repair story.

dude, you're not the only one that has that view on Schecter...i personally think Shecters are crappy, they dont have good tone options. I think they're a waste of money...

well obviously everybody has those brands they think suck (mine would be gibson... )

but I just found it rather overzealous to make comments suggesting that schecters should never be played by any musicians and are not acceptable instruments.

I say gibson is a waste of money, and i say the tone and quality is overpriced and crappy, but obviously alot of people do like them and they "work" perfectly fine for them.

So no big deal to people who dont like schecters, I can totally understand that! and you shouldnt be flamed for thinking that. I mean.. this thread is ABOUT debating the quality control of schecters... lets just not go overboard about it.

EADG mx, sorry for continuing what you obviously wanted to cease.
