Double Bass Schnitzer Fan Club

I don't personally know Mr. Schnitzer, but I am a fan because of all the good things my luthier, Wayne Holmes, has said about him. He is always mentioning Arnold. Not only, has he learned a lot from reading Mr. Schnitzer's posts here on talkbass and the Ken Smith forum, but if he really needs some help, Arnold is one of the first luthiers that he contacts. I remember once when Wayne got a bass in that had been set up by Mr. Schnitzer. Wayne said it was like getting in a gold "mind" since it was so valuable to see how he made and fitted a bridge and sound post. Wayne told me that that day was a turning point for his own set-up work. It's nice to see so many of the most respected bassists and luthiers on talkbass are also fans of Mr. Schnitzer. From my own reading here on Talkbass, Mr. Schnitzer has been a powerful force in making Talkbass the great exchange of bass ideas. I imagine that the Arnold Schnitzer fan club will be huge, deservingly so. The number of people he has helped on this forum is countless.
