Score! New-to-me five string

Craigslist pays off.

I just bought my new bass, and first five string, from a guy tonight. It is a Yamaha RBX375.

It is in very good condition and has a great neck. The set-up and action is just about perfect too. I consider this a real score, especially considering that I was able to get it for $185.

Yeah, these can be had for just under $400 new, so I feel good about picking this one up at the price I paid. Obviously, I've not had much time with it yet but, at this point, I'm really stoked about the feel and tone I'm getting.

In a way. The neck is maple but feels dense and is very smooth; almost like a hard plastic.

The body is alder and the fretboard is rosewood. Its well-balanced; not sure of the weight but very comfortable.
