I stopped by a local pawnshop managed by a guy who briefly took guitar lessons from me in the '80s ( he was really good, and I passed him on to a better guitar teacher pretty quickly; he's still scary good, big ears, and an appreciation for a wide range of musics).

Any way, they had a set of GHS Precision Flatwounds marked $19. Took a set to the counter, and the guy working today gave 'em to me for $10 out the door.
