I believe that's a Gold Olinto P-bass by LaBella:

It's an Olinto neck, and that looks like the original body too. At some point he switched the neck and body of his Olinto and his Alleva Coppolo. This must be from before that, or maybe he put it back.

(Actually scratch that. The Olinto he switched the neck on was white, not gold. He must have gotten another one LOL. That guy goes through 'em...)

I seem to remember that he swapped the neck of his white Fender Custom Shop P with his Moolon, but he may have done more swaps as well.

You're probably right and I'm mis-remembering.

He has a video from when he got that Olinto. 1.5" body, the fretboard is made from very old rosewood. One of the most beautiful P basses I've ever seen.

I once worked in Berlin and took my cheap Vintage P Bass (the brand was vintage) with me, as I didn't want my good basses to get damaged. On that was the Jamerson flats, absolutely impossible action. But man. The sound was so good. Went to several jam session: Every time the same spiel. Bassists tried it, said its terrible and when it was my turn they all loved the sound and the other musicians didn't let me off the stage until I was too tired to continue playing.

Sadly the neck snapped a year later.

I have those strings on a Vintera II P bass and the action is pretty normal. 5/64'-4/64". It could go lower but I like a higher action. The neck is thin yet no issues after over 2 years.
