Searching classifieds

Since the Talkbass update, there are some things I dislike and some that I like. One of the things that I don't understand why they got rid of is the ability to search the classifieds. I really don't want to see every post on Talkbass of an item that I'm searching for in the classifieds. Pretty frustrating. Am I missing something?

Do you typically browse on mobile or a computer?

Either way, for an actual dedicated search you can go here: https://www.talkbass.com/search/?type=cas_ad

If you're on a computer and you go to the main classifieds: https://www.talkbass.com/classifieds/

There will be a filter on the left side under the categories that allows you to narrow things down.

If on mobile to go that same link, at the top of the first ad, there will be a little.. actually I'm not sure what it's supposed to be. But tap on it and that same filter will show up.

Using dedicated search I get "No results found"
Keywords-jazz bass
older than 1/14/2026
for sale ads
open ads
for sale-bass guitars
search child, comments, questions and answers all checked
relevance

Get the same response when searching other keywords.

What am I missing?

Well, the first link works. How do I get to that search function without you having to give me the link? Seems like it would be easier if there was a search button on the top of the classifieds.

I finally found the search function that was in your link, and like the other poster stated, there are zero results. However, when I use your link, it works fine. Seems like there might be a glitch in the system.
