Searching for Info on my bass

Howdy Y'all
I just traded in my EUB for my first real doghouse bass. I have not been able to find out any thing about the make and where it came from . The label inside says A. Gafiano Strings, Size 3/4, Model VB100, Anno 2010 and the serial number. The last line says "Hand crafted exclusively for The Foxes Music Co. I cannot find another bass with the same name online anywhere. If anyone on the forum has any insight on the brand would love to hear.

Check Foxes Music Company in Falls Church, VA.

I did just that. I called the Foxes Music Co. Their bass man name is Dave. Really nice guy. He said they have these basses made for them from the Gemantown Violin company. He said my bass was made in their overseas shop and it 2010 was the last year this mode was made. It has a laminated maple back and side with a solid spruce top. Thanks for guiding in the right direction.

Might be envious,or intimidated,but everytime I watch anyone play the upright bass. Wonder how they get such a good sound from them. Must be the player I guess. Tried playing them though,always seemed too awkward or bulky for me. Each to their own,don't prefer them myself. Keep on thumping!

It's been really good so far. I filled in for a local groups bass player doing music by the Beatles, Neal Young, Jimmy Buffett and more. They loved the sound and if I would stay. Lol. The feet on the bridge are not making solid contact but my loving wife and son is gonna have a setup with new bridge done on it for my Christmas present.

If you get a good price I say get it. If you need info on it call Dave @ The Foxes Music Co.
