Seattle hang out?

For a venue, many neighborhoods have park dept. meeting halls, community centers, etc. that can be reserved. I'm sure Seattle has these sort of facilities.

There's also a decent-sized hall over here in Kirkland that would fit the bill. It stands far from any dwellings so noise wouldn't be a big issue. Depending on the group size, I think the costs would be pretty low per person. A supply of beer would be nice, but very impractical to get the permits etc. at a public facility. Plus, with drinks the volume may get out of hand as is usually the case.

I'd be in if it doesn't happen during a Hawks game.

The guy from Redline is all for it.

Do any of these dates work for you guys?

Oct 12th, 19th, 26th

I figure people can start showing up around 2-3pm and the festivities would go until people fade out.
I know there's Hawk games but there are TV's at this place and I really don't want to wait until after the season.

Please send me a pm with the date you like best in the header so I can pick a day based on when the most people can come.

Sounds good. Any dates work but the 19th would be best.

Have you talked to Kris about something happening during game time? They usually have the big-screen pulled down (in front of the stage) during games. That's their draw; sports bar patrons.
If there's a Coug game, then all bets are off and anything Wazoo will take precedence. ;)

I'm not sure how he feels about another "gathering" going on during a major local sports event being televised. Might be best to look into that earlier rather than later.

He seemed cool with it but we haven't got all the details worked out yet.
