Seattle hang out?

Awesome! Thanks for putting this together PRS. I'll definitely make my way out.

Side note: This is going to be right around the time I'll be getting back from a trip and will be selling my Ampeg 810 in an ATA (would rather keep them together but would consider splitting) case AND my Ampeg SVT II (non pro). Anyone around here interested? Selling locally is so much easier.

Bring it for people to try out you never know.

I'm in. That food sounds quite good too. If I can get a pass from the wifey, I'd stay for the game also.

I don't have any spectacular basses to bring and show off though. Just a Lakland Skyline, but I like it fine. I may not spend a lot on basses, but I've been known to crack open the wallet for pitchers now and again.;)

Well, you could just leave the fretless. :hiding:

+1, and sorry to miss Senor Rodent yet again.

The rest of you guys, please bring whatever fretless basses you have -- especially 4 stringers. Since i don't play fretted bass at all, my options usually have been fairly limited at the other GTGs I've attended. But really, I just mainly come for the pie anyhow.

I have a Squier VM fretless that I can bring along. Not much of a bass, but you're welcome to play it as much as you want.

So what goes on at these GTG's? Sounds like there's playing, people bringing basses? Do you bring gear? Is there some sort of open jam? bands? ???

This time around everyone is invited to bring all types of gear they think somebody else might enjoy trying out or want to show off.
This means anything bass, even a cheap parts bass you think is the bees knees if that's what you want.
I assume there will be a lot of BS'n about gear, basses and what ever people want to talk about.
Everyone can get the chance to put a name with a face of the people we chat with on here all the time.

Next time around a few other musicians (drummers/guitarists) will be invited to have open jams with.

If you don't have anything you want to bring just plan on playing a bunch of stuff you might not have ever had a chance to play. Then let the GAS begin
